How to create a Spotto account

Creating a Spotto Account

To get started with Spotto, visit https://portal.spotto.ai and select a region to create a new account.

Step 1: Choose Your Data Region

The first step in the sign-up process is selecting your data region. This determines where your account and all associated data will be stored. Your selection impacts data privacy, security, and compliance requirements based on your organization's needs.

Spotto operates in three fully isolated regions:

  • United States — User and data storage located on the U.S.A
  • Europe — User and data storage located within the European Union
  • Asia Pacific — User and data storage located in Australia

Each region is entirely independent. If you require access across multiple regions, you must create a separate account in each.

Spotto take privacy and security seriously. With fully isolated environments, you can be confident your data is only stored in your nominated location.

Step 2: Set Up MFA

For added security, you'll be prompted to configure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) during the sign-up process. This extra layer of protection helps keep your account secure.

Step 3: Secure Identity Management

Spotto does not store your passwords or other login credentials. Instead, we use AWS Cognito, a secure identity service, to manage authentication using industry best practices.

Step 4: Connect Your Cloud Accounts

Once your Spotto account is created, navigate to the Cloud Accounts section to register your cloud environments (e.g., Azure). This allows Spotto to scan your configurations and provide tailored cost, performance, and security recommendations.
